We are excited to launch the International Journal of Clinical and Translational Medicine (IJCTM) in 2025. The journal has a broad scope and encourages articles in basic sciences, clinical investigation, and population sciences. Articles in the following areas will be encouraged based on the present expertise of the Editorial Board: endocrinology and metabolism, nutrition and obesity, nephrology, neurology, hematology, hepatology, cardiology, oncology, medical biochemistry, immunology, and pathology. Globally there is a growing problem with hyperlipidemia, obesity, hypertension, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, chronic kidney diseases, etc. that prompted the development of this journal to serve this broad need and disseminate seminal observations in clinical, translational, and molecular research to health professionals. It will serve as a leading platform to disseminate new knowledge in translational and molecular research and therapeutic advances. However, articles in other disciplines will also be considered.
The International Journal of Clinical and Translational Medicine (IJCTM) is an open access peer-reviewed journal spanning both clinical and translational research. Types of articles that are encouraged for submission and possible publication include original clinical, translational, cellular, and molecular research manuscripts, reviews, editorials, commentaries, brief communications (restricted to 1800 words and 10 references), case reports, and images with a short discussion of less than 500 words and letters to the editor. The goal is to publish high-quality articles that will benefit academicians, clinicians, and other healthcare providers and advance the practice of medicine globally. Initially, articles will be published quarterly by Scilight Press.
In conclusion, we extend a warm invitation to basic and translational researchers, clinicians, and other health professionals to partner on this exciting sojourn to advance global health as a team.
