Aims & Scope
Aims: eMicrobe is a gold open access, peer-reviewed journal giving leading international coverage across all disciplines that make use of the expanding range of robust in silico technologies for the study of microbes and infectious diseases. eMicrobe publishes rigorously peer-reviewed articles including original research, short communications, letters, case reports, reviews, and images related to the study of microbes and infectious diseases, with an emphasis on the utilization of cutting-edge computer-related technologies. It is published quarterly online by Scilight Press.
Scope: eMicrobe welcomes findings that utilize cutting-edge computer-related technologies, such as bioinformatics tools, big data analysis, and machine learning, for the study of microbes and infectious diseases. For example, for case reports, bacterial infections diagnosed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing, multiple sequence alignment and phylogenetic analysis or infections picked up by next-generation sequencing or artificial intelligence-based image recognition tools are welcome.
